TRO Lime Kiln Road, Worts Causeway and Cherry Hinton Road
Cambridgeshire County Council has published a TRO.
Further details can be found on their online traffic portal here – https://consultation.appyway.com/cambridge and select the Order “CCC (Cherry Hinton Road, Lime Kiln Road and Worts Causeway, Cambridge and Great Shelford) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 2025” or “CCC (Lime Kiln Road, Cambridge) (Prohibition of Overtaking) Order 2025”.
In summary, the proposal is as follows:-
- Introduce a new 40mph speed limit on lengths of Cherry Hinton Road, Lime Kiln Road and Worts Causeway.
- Introduce a prohibition of overtaking on lengths of Lime Kiln Road.
If you wish to make any comments they should be submitted in writing, as explained in the public notice, to be received no later than 25th September 2025. The easiest way to respond is via the above online portal.
