Addenbrookes Roundabout works update 12
Improvements at the roundabout are continuing to progress this week, with all scheduled tactile paving, drainage, kerb and edging works now completed. The team have also installed the permanent pedestrian signal poles but these will be bagged until they are activated at the end of the works.
Pedestrian access between Hills Road and Fendon Road is currently closed, with a safe and well-marked diversion in place.

The planned works for w/c 25 August include:
- The closure of the eastern footpath on Fendon Road toward Hills Road South, with diversions updated accordingly.
- The beginning of enabling works for the removal and resurfacing of the traffic island on Hills Road South to allow for improved vehicle access.
- The application of new white lining to realign the carriageway following the island removal.
We are aware of the burst water main on A1307 Hills Road which Cambridge Water are currently working to fix. Ongoing updates can be found on their website – Cambridge Water. There is no disruption expected to our works on the roundabout.
We remain committed to ensuring works are delivered efficiently while minimising disruption and would like to thank you for your continued patience and support.
