Addenbrookes roundabout works 10
We have continued to excavate the section of the roundabout between Fendon Road and Hills Road which is now around 70% complete. The path in this area is still closed and the pedestrian diversion remains in place whilst the site team continues to install drainage and gully systems, kerbs and ducting.
The temporary traffic signals are still in place and are effectively managing traffic flow, with no issues being reported. Traffic management continues to be in place overnight to maintain the site team’s safety, and is removed during daylight hours to allow traffic to use the roundabout normally.
This week, the team will continue to install kerbs, ducting and drainage in the Fendon Road-Hills Road section where the pavement is closed as well as starting the process of installing tactile paving and edging at the same location.
