{"id":150,"date":"2025-01-08T21:50:53","date_gmt":"2025-01-08T21:50:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/karenyoung.uk\/uncategorised\/scdc-4-day-week-consultation\/"},"modified":"2026-07-05T21:17:57","modified_gmt":"2026-07-05T20:17:57","slug":"scdc-4-day-week-consultation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/karenyoung.uk\/?p=150","title":{"rendered":"SCDC 4-day week consultation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>South Cambridgeshire District Council (SCDC) &#8211; which shares waste and planning services with Cambridge City Council &#8211; has published plans for how people will be able to share their views on services during a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.scambs.gov.uk\/your-council-and-democracy\/four-day-working-week\">trial of a four-day week<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A report to be discussed at SCDC&#8217;s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/scambs.moderngov.co.uk\/ieListDocuments.aspx?MId=10025&amp;x=1\">Scrutiny and Overview Committee<\/a>&nbsp;next week sets out the proposals for an eight-week public consultation. Subject to final sign-off, there will be a full public consultation that anyone, anywhere can respond to \u2013 starting at 9am on Monday 27 January.
