Digital inclusion
The Digital Inclusion Directory has just launched – it is an exciting a collaborative effort between Cambridge Online, Connecting Cambridgeshire, and the Cambridge City Council which brings together trusted local organisations offering free support with getting online, accessing devices, and building essential digital skills in one handy hardcopy directory.
More than 1 in 5 people experience some form of digital exclusion, which can make everyday tasks like booking GP appointments, ordering prescriptions, or accessing support services much harder. This Digital Directory is designed to help people find the right support more easily – whether they’re looking to get online for the first time, improve their digital confidence, or access affordable data and devices. It will also help frontline staff to know where to direct people to if they need digital help.
Hard copies have been distributed to all local libraries across the County, and a PDF version is available to download here
